Happy 4th of July

Fighting for America's freedom, allows us to enjoy this months update for Halo: Combat Evolved.

Updated to version 6.0! With this update, brings fixes that all of you have been waiting for. More features, less problems, and a smaller footprint.
This month will be the last major update with CE for a while, as the next project is already underway!

Halo CE will continue to receive monthly updates to ensure stability and improvements to the AI model.
There wont be any major updates like correcting AI pathways, due to limited resources and past due deadlines. Features like medals or killstreaks wont be added, as medals and killstreaks do not register in MCC's engine, running mods. This will require the Studio to update MCC's current state to integrate these requirements, per community demand. (Also with Campaign, scoring needs to be added if the game is capable of doing it. Should be the same like it is for retail campaign.)
With this update, allows the foundation of BBC to be ported over to Halo 2 and 3 with ease. Halo 3 BBC is set to release in 2027, as the features from CE have already been tested and are confirmed working at this time.
The current road map still stands to support MCC in hopes to push the narrative to bring Halo mods to Xbox. Even though modding has become very popular lately on Steam, you could take BBC on the go, or play at home. This is what BBC is designed around.
The only requirement is Steam and a copy of MCC to be able to access the workshop mods directly.
With that in mind, taking BBC on the go is the next best thing to play with on MCC. You could be stuck on a plane, a boat, a bus or a train and want to get warmed up before taking your game online to the next level.

I would like to see Xbox adopt the nature of being able to port mods to the Xbox version of MCC, like with Forge and matchmaking in H:Infinite (pay the forgers, in some way... Looking at Far Cry 2 and the menus it pulls off with it's functionalities could easily work with MCC in the long run).
I hope this update brings in more players, new and old, back into the franchise to help keep the legacy alive, well and healthy, to be able to pass the torch onto the next generation. Never forget the horse we all once rode in on. There might come a day that 40 years of Halo will still be around, or more, but what will that look like?

I can't wait to provide my source material of BBC to the community. The main goal is to complete the MCC package in full, in order to provide you all the resources you need to get started. Once completed, there will be a brand new SDK tool along side BBC that I have developed, aiming to improve the basic techniques around the modding pipeline. This enables modders to make custom BBC maps with ease, or to use the tool to make other great mods for MCC as well!
There is no right or wrong way to develop mods for Halo, and there are many tools made by the community that you should definitely tryout for yourself.
My tool does pay respects to the community and their efforts making modding easier, though it can be a bit vague at times with a bit of a learning curve attached with them. My software curbs all of that and lays out everything you need right out the gate. This closes the gap of having to learn new things on the fly, where time simply does not allow this.
Lots of my time has been poured into making this new app work with Halo and the editor kits combined, having a slight impact to BBC's schedule, causing certain delays in-between updates.
There will be more public announcements here to come so stay tuned.
Halo 2: Bot Boot Camp II, is coming!
If you want in on the action early, get subscribed to register towards the next upcoming Closed Beta, happening this September 26th through the 28th. You can either sub as a Heroic or Legendary member to apply.
Subscribing to participate in a closed beta:
After processing is complete, you will be given a permission form to provide consent during the open enrollment process (roll call). The subscriber may offer their Steam Friend Code to the developer, in order to access the private workshop subscription for Halo: The Master Chief Collection. Without consent, you will not be able to participate in any events. It's important that only friend codes are used to help track paid members within the proper tiers offering their paid request. Submitted friend codes are kept private and are destroyed after validation. Randomly submitted friend codes will be subject to harassment and will automatically forfeit their subscription (no refunds available), including any or all future requests will be denied following a ban from the Bot Boot Camp community, without notice. A failed payment will prohibit the use of the listed features based on the subscription tier model (this does not warrant any suspensions as this is unrelated). Invalid Friend Codes will be rejected following a direct request to the user to provide an updated Friend Code. Terms and Conditions apply.
If you want to learn more, please join the BBC Discord server to get connected with me and any future events surrounding BBC. Or, you can join a massive Halo discord community at Halo Divine!
Thank you all again for your help in making a difference and supporting me breathing new life into the games we once grew up with.
Happy 4th of July everyone!
