If the requirement is just clapping, because it works with Mahitos high-five, maybe he can get a prosthesis that can clap or even switch the conditions to maybe snipping with his fingers with a new binding vow :D

2023-12-15 10:45:19 +0000 UTCYeah like others mentioned Todo's last clap with the stump didn't do anything, but Mahito thought it would do a switch, that's why he attacked behind himself thinking he was gonna switch with Itadori, which left him open to Itadori.

2023-12-15 03:00:12 +0000 UTCI do belive todo's CT Does require him to "clap" in some way. His last attempt where he clapped with his stump hand, didnt acctualy swap mahito and yuji. He can tho use someone elses hand, as seen when he slaps mahitos hand and yuji comes in. In my head cannon if he had a "Hand cursed tool" of some kind that he could clap with, he could still use his CT.

His speech was just for bluffing since he only had one hand. Peak episode btw, I am so happy with what Mappa did this week. Shout out Todo, Shout out Yuuji and even shout out Mahito for being one of the best villains in new gen anime.

I also think Todo has to clap, because its the binding vow of his technique, but he can choose if a switch happens or not. Though of course maybe that can be changed by a new vow. Maybe Shoko can heal him too.
