To charge monthly or per creation?

Which basically means, it'll work out a lot cheaper for you, but I'll need to try and build patron numbers up so it can be enough to support my family.
I understand that a big thing that might steer people away from Patreon is cost, to help me improve your Patreon experience, and to help you stick around longer, how do you prefer to be charged?
