There was definitely an RTS rush at the time, which made it difficult for games as original as Netstorm to stand out. Glad we can now go back and find these gems and revisit them, though. Too bad for the developers at the time, though.

I missed on NetStorm in real-time since I was an Age of Empires kid with not enough allowance for two games of the same genre. Now I feel like I missed a unique opportunity in time to experience something a bit more novel.
