Getting Near the End (Video Update)

I know it's been a very long time coming, but I'm nearing the end of the first episode of my new cyberpunk miniseries. It should be about 45-50 minutes long once it's all been cut and paced out.

I have the script completed, most all the footage rounded up, and the voiceover recorded, now I'm in the process of fusing all of that together into a cohegent video.

I'm excited to show you the final version -- hopefully next week. I took the last week to grind through the post-production on this beast, but it wasn't quite enough time. In usual fashion, I will be crediting all of you who've contributed to Patreon for the last few months (since I started on the video).

I've spent the last few months collecting tons of imagery, music and effects to try to make this as enjoyable and entertaining as possible. In my searches, there doesn't really seem to be a comprehensive video/series on the genre since about 1990, shockingly!

On a side note, I also reached out to electronic artist Kuedo, to license one of his songs for the ending credits. Here's a link to the song I'm licensing, if you're curious. It's a sort of an EDM reinterpretation of the Blade Runner credits song.

Thanks so much for all your support, and I hope I can bring you some great news in the next week or so.

END OF LINE.

[EDIT] forget it, I'm apparently Youtube-impared as well.

Glad you enjoy them! I did post this on my YouTube channel and Twitter, but not here on Patreon.

Why didn't you post a notification that you did another podcast with Nerdslayer? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vwRdpLtxAGQ I really enjoy these.

Looking forward to it

I'm really excited to share it with everyone, too! The upcoming release of Cyberpunk 2077 was definitely a factor in deciding on this as a topic, but I also wanted to show that cyberpunk was also a really fleshed-out and fascinating genre. I'm a little worried that some people may only know the game, not the genre it was named after.

Super looking forward to this video. I hope the Cyberpunk 2077 hype nets you a ton of views and subs on YouTube.
