Ok! Things are coming together! Yes, Skull Knight is a good dude! My interpretation of Nina thinking about the life that she holds in her hands is one more of overwhelming burden. She is selfish and is usually not put in a position where she has to make sure that someone else is safe. She. Does not strike me as power hungry at all. She may be thinking of letting go to run away from the responsibilities of making every effort she can muster to save Luca. It’s just beyond her. Luca on the other hand, sacrifices herself so Nina won’t have to make that decision. Although she may be burdened with guilt now. We meet yet another apostle that has a tragic back story who we can feel some sympathy for. “Nobody “ really was an observer. He did nudge things from time to time, but the actual atrocities were perpetrated by humans against other humans. Really nothings changed. As apostles go, he is very unique. He is both an apostle and a sacrifice! The requirements have not changed, a behelit and a person or people that are most dear to the invoker.
