MARCH PREVIEW AND SOME HOUSECLEANING

Yo! I talked for way too long in the above video, but let me try to boil it down for you here:

1. Tickets for these June shows are kind of going fast. NYC is already sold out, DC and Chicago are on their way, the rest are moving along at a clip that both happily surprises AND slightly frightens me. No editorial on that - just letting you know! Ticket links, as always, can be found at tedleo.com/tour

2.JUST TO SAY, that next month’s monthly is going to incorporate music, writing, talking, and an interview, “about” the Irish in America, the Erie Canal, my thoughts and some songs about those and other things, and I’m psyched to get it to you. Mid-month, before St. Patrick’s Day.

3. I talked a little bit in the video about money, labor, subscriptions and hardship, and for next month, I’m going to have a new email through which we can hopefully discuss some options for getting people who can’t manage a paid subscription in - because, you know - sometimes it’s month to month, sometimes you’re flush, sometimes you’re skint - I don’t want to leave anybody out for that reason but Patreon doesn’t allow you to give gift subscriptions, so I’m thinking about some other ways of doing it. WE’LL DISCUSS IT MORE NEXT MONTH.

4. IN THE VIDEO, not as a download, is a new song I’m working on. This is a solo version, as I’ve just finished it and may tweak it a little more before I feel it’s really done, but it’s almost there, and if you sat through the entire spiel of the video, you deserve a song at the end! It’s called, “Delivering Letters For Vivian,” and I’ll flesh it out and post with lyrics at a later date.

That’s all for now! Main monthly post, again, mid-month next month.

What I am here for is mainly the pleasure of listening to you ramble about whatever you want to and to support your work. Love the song natch! Yow!

How many artists would even have the heart to consider the feasibility of gifting Patreon subs to those in need? That is so kind. I'm just a working stiff but I would gladly pay double this a month to keep you doing what you do.
