Have Pure set to HDR. On the PP tab, shows ERROR: HDR not properly set. Settings\Assetto Corsa\PP set to pureHDR. Drive\Weather set to dynamic\pure. edit: hdreye shows no error.

I solved mine, I used this "comfy map" app, somehow it caused it all. I deleted it and the gameplay is smooth again

Hello, I have watched the vidéo various times but for some reasons, i always end up on the same "bug". I can see and select pure in CSP content Manager, "Weather FX" screen. It appears as well in AC/Video/filters but i can t get it to show properly on the Drive menu. I cant see 'pure" as a option there. I have seen sol, ununstalled it, through the special file in the pure install folder; pure still not showing at the drive menu. I am just seing a "Random options and then some simple weather options (heavy clouds,...) . If i ununstall/reinstall pure. Sol reappears in this drive menu like pure is reinstalling it. Menus show : random/Original/Bytypes/sol/mods. "pure" still not showing. On launch (hot lap), i got a black sky, no stars, like pure blackout ;) the pure config menu shows a black empty screen. What am i doing wrong ? :r Thank in advance for your help.

Thanks for responding. Yes all updated. Seems if I use a limited functionality on CSP then it appears over exposed (do this for Vr to get better frames). Using more functions in csp fixes the over exposure. What settings do I need to ensure are checked in csp for it to work?

same here only that my 70fps looks like 40, i think it is more like stuttering rather than low framerate, i think frametimes are bad

Hey does anyone experience the follwing; my fps is high enough (~100fps), but it looks very unsmooth, almost as if it was like 40. At first I thought this was bc of the adaptive sync in my monitor but it's exactly the same when this is turned off. (ps. yes every other form of v-sync is off). Thanks!

Please have a look at the update post. pure 0.222 needs CSP 0.2 or later! If you want to use CSP 0.180, you need to use older versions of Pure!

I disabled it and the bug remains, so PP AA is probably unrelated. Maybe I should mention that I tried disabling CAS and that fixes it, but then it's a blurry mess.

Thanks, I just realized I'm already on that server, but I connected the Discord app anyway, so thanks for the tip. A quick look in the help hub and I found the culprit from an existing ticket. It's a conflict with FidelityFX CAS. Seems like it's been fixed so I'll wait for the next release.

Great, I will. Btw, if I set WeatherFX to the Yebis alternative, the filter appears a lot better, but still weird. Also, the tutorial mentions it's already overriding Yebis/Yebis Alt for me, so I guess it shouldn't really matter.

PureHDR is the PPfilter with the new method. Maybe something is already set to be very bright and so it is overexposed then. You can also link Patreon and Discord in Patreon settings Apps and then you are autoconnected to Pure Discord Server. Make a new post in the Pure help hub. Can't really solve this here...

What I mean to ask is whether both filters are applicable to the new HDR method. I'm trying to make sure I'm getting the updated experience and not placebo'ing off something older. I have everything configured exactly as in the tutorial.

What latest HDR implementation? BTW - For HDR DXGI must be active in CM and you can not use fullscreen mode!

Hi all - new to Pure. Have installed as per youtube video and removed Sol. Pure Config app not appearing in game and pure filters all over exposed bar the HDR pp filters.

I did read the tutorial, several times. I'm already at CSP 0.2.3 Preview 1. As for FXAA, yes, I forgot that it's actually an injection hook. Have both pureHDR and pureHDR-Eye been updated to the latest HDR implementation?

Please have a look at the HDR tutorial.pdf! FXAA is the entry point of many thing in CSP. It's the thing where most things are injected. Also if you use CMAA 2.0 as anti aliasing method (CM - Settings - CSP - Graphics Adjustments - Post Processing antialiasing), update to the newest CSP versions. There was a bug with HDR.

I upgraded to this version the other day. Great work as always. The pureHDR PP filter doesn't actually work, it's over-exposed or something. Someone claimed resetting Pure fixes it, but it didn't work for me and he also mentioned it has to be done repeatedly. However, the secondary filter pureHDR-Eye does work properly and it looks amazing. Why does HDR need FXAA to be enabled? I have it enabled anyway (as part of Ilja's advice on achieving the best AA quality), but instinctively, it doesn't have anything to do with HDR.

You need a CSP preview version for RainFX! Have a look at the Pure update post and scroll all the way down. It is linked there....

OOPs I accidentally hit return. Sorry.\I've installed Pure 0.222 and CSP 0.22 and can't get the rain app to work. I can't see the rain on the track or windshield but can hear it. When I click + on the wipers in the rain app, the wipers work. But when I click on rain nothing happens. What do I need to do to get rain to show up?

What does not work? If you follow it, it will work. You can also link Patreon and Discord in Patreon serttings Apps, then you are autoconnected to Pure Discord Server. There you can use the help forum and post screenshots. Really, in 99,99% of the cases, CM/CSP/Pure will work, if you follow the installation exactly!

For some reason when i activate pure, the editing tab glitches in and out and its impossible to make changes to things such as the sky making the game look very bland. Also, when i install pure manually through the local files it doesn't show up. This has never happend before, is there a solution?

I did everything of install guide video, and then i can play normally, but if i get out e join again like 3 or 5 times, then its start to crash saying the race is cancelled, i did everything like the video, i even had unistalled everything, AC, CM, PURE etc and re-instaled, but the same error apears to happen, every time i installed, its all good till i get out of the practice session and try to join again, after a few times joining, then suddenly everytime crashes, please help :/

Sol Planner works with Pure or the default weather style. Weather style and weather controller are independent. You just need to select the Sol controller then in the weather selection in drive menu.

I often uninstall Assetto Corsa and reinstall it along with Content Manager, CSP and Pure (installing using the install.bat) then whatever cars and tracks needed; things seem to work great for me. Its can take some time but it clears any issues I noticed. :)

I'm having a similar problem. It seems to happen when the weather is changing or is at a certain stage. My PC specs are Ryzen 7 3700x. RTX 3080 32gb ram 3600mhz. No OC I think it's a bottle neck from the CPU.

You need a Discord account. Then you link this account with Patreon in Patreon settings - Apps. You will be autoconnected and then you get a role on Pure Discord. There you can access the help hub. Maybe prepare something. Make a screenshot of the ingame CSP Lua Debug app. If there is a red dot. Switch to the tab with the red dot, expand the error and make the screenshot. Also please check your version of CSP in CM - settings - CSP - about&info. And the version of CM in CM - settings - Content Manager - general.

Ah, I see! I was misremembering! In that case, yes, consider this a feature request. I'd love it if the entire script was activated automatically, and not have to hit a "show/hide" hotkey twice quickly to get weather working. Even something where it simply did this open/close process automatically offscreen would work as a patchwork solution. It's just a hassle I feel is unnecessary when CM Static weather is "set-and-forget" in the Drive tab, and is immediately working when the game loads. If it's possible, I think that'd be a great addition. So, yes, please give it a look if you have the time, and thanks again.

right, in my case, I'm looking to use Dynamic weather exclusively. I have all static controllers (including the Pure Static controller) unchecked, and "Pure" selected under Dynamic. In that Dynamic Pure submenu, I have "Start Plan with the Race" checked, and CM Weather set to Clear. I start the race, and I get the issue above - track and ambient temp are identical and don't change, unless the Pure planner is opened in the sidebar. I get this exact same problem if I use the Pure Static controller, and use any of the selectable CM weathers there. If I use the standard CM controller and a selectable CM weather, everything works properly off of selecting "Go!" with no extra inputs. So, must I open the Pure Planner to get Pure weather? Is that the case? And if so, wouldn't it be wiser to just automatically activate the planner somehow on launch? Perhaps I'm misunderstanding.

Hey, yes there is a little thing in need to set, before the session starts. But I don't know if this is even possible. Actually you can set a static controller OR the dynamic controller. If you set the static controller, then Pure Planner will do a simple day plan with the set weather in the pull down. If you select the Pure dynamic controller, then you can set more options in it's sub menu...

Hi Peter, First, thank you for this wonderful app. It is an important service you're doing for the sim. I am having a small issue with 0.222 that is hopefully quickly answered. I cannot seem to get the Pure controller script running in game unless the Pure Planner app is opened. In CM (latest version, CSP latest preview) I have the Controller in WeatherFX set to Pure, and in the Drive Tab, under Weather, I have "Pure Static" checked under "Controllers" and "Pure" selected as the weather itself (so it says "Pure" in the Weather drop-down). Upon game launch, I can tell something is off - both air and track temp are identical, and not at the ranges I set them at before launching (so, for example, 21C and 21C air and track temp when I set 26C in CM). Upon opening the Pure Planner in the side bar, though, everything begins to work - the cloud cover I set, as well as the temperature ranges for track and air (to reference the previous example, from 21C to 26C/29C). I assume what is happening here is that the script itself is starting when the Pure Planner is opened, and is not running prior. Obviously, I'd like to not have to do that at all, just for it to launch with "Go!" - and from what I remember, that's how my previous Pure version worked. Perhaps I'm misremembering, or is there something I'm doing wrong? A config setting I'm missing in CSP settings? EDIT: Quick check, as I remembered you can actually disable both static controllers and have nothing checked under "controllers". I have done that - unfortunately, no change. Hi I have installed Latest lights patch, by clicking on the link to latest version and letting content manager install 2.21 And then I d loaded the zip and unzipped into my Assetto root DIR and I still don't get this option anywhere in Content Manager? 'Replace yebis with alternative lighting' in post-processing setting under weatherfx like in your instructions. The only pp options are full resolution and below that first person pp options to turn of glare etc. I have looked for hours for it in every section of CSP, Assetto Corsa,& Content Manager settings, but can't find it? I have latest Pure also BTW thank you for that! Just wondering If I have done something wrong to have a different menu to yours ? Cheers

Sure, I'm always working on updates. The next update will bring many fixes and new features to Pure: Pure Planner gets the live mode and the keyboard and controller integration. Also its possible to define 10 favorite plans which can be loaded via keys or buttons. Pure style will have more skydomes, esp. for sunsets and twilight to improve the current look. It will also have a new ambient lighting update, which supports the new CSP tiled ambient light. This ambient lighting is more natural and fits the scenery with a way more immersive look. But I'm currently in the middle of the development and many things need to be checked and tested by the testers. So I think there will not be a release this year, but in early January. The changes are too big to throw out an untested version...

Please install CSP 0.1.79 or 0.1.80preview first, then the new CSP 0.2 or 0.2.1preview. There is just 1 file missing in the new CSP build for the Traffic Planner. But this fille is in the older builds.

I seem to have a strange problem with rain. After a lot of testing and configuring, it seems that when I set the weather controller to "pure static", when setting weather to rain, the automatic shifting seems to be restricted to 2nd or 3rd gear, cars won't go faster than around 90kph. When I set the weather controller to "default", it goes back to normal. Also, when I use the "pure" weather, the auto tire selection in CSP seems to be broken. Bug?

hello, Ive got a problem where my command prompt closes immediately after selecting my root ac path, ive moved my steam folder to my other drive if that makes any difference. ive also tried running through admin but with no luck.

Hi, I am new here in patreon if I have can I comment my problem here? After downloading the file it worked fine but, my controller tweaks did disappear how can I get it back again? I redownloaded the file also it didn’t show up again what can I do? Also there is the controller for pure in ur video u had the automatic graphics setting in the newest update I didn’t find such thing is there any way to get it? Actually the newest CSP version had a very long bugfixing phase. We fixed it for over 6 weeks and I would call it the most stable since a long time. And then you should imagine, that people with working AC/CSP/Pure, don't write comments, because mostly people do comments to report that they have a problem. Actually 90% of crashes are settings related. CSP is very stable with default settings. So it is always recommend, to reset its settings to default. Just try CSP 0.2 or it's preview twin 0.2.1p2 and use Pure 0.222 with it.

Older versions track condition was working separately. This video explains about transition when we set a plan. Right now track conditions are working timely with plan even in dynamic set is on. In older version; when I change current weather for exsample sunny to heavy rain. Even rain was coming a bit slowly and track get wet in time. Like effected by weather. And any time I change it back to sunny weather, only sky was changing and track dry slowly.

What do you mean with auto-use? There are the Pure filters like pure, pureCandy and such..

Sorry Peter, I feel like an idiot. I found out right clicking on each slider resets to default and everything is working as should now. I don't want you wasting time looking for a problem that's not there. Thank you again for everything you do.

I think I found my other issue as well. The settings for dynamic calculations had puddles:drying set to a max value of 100. I'm not sure what the default value should be but turning it down seems to have solved that issue. A list for the default values on all the calculations settings would be helpful or an option to reset those to default in a later update. Thank you again for everything you do Peter.

Please read the included HDR tutorial pdf! Also CMAA is currently not working with HDR. If you use that in settings CSP graphics adjustments, choose a different AA method.

I have HDR monitor with the latest Pure HDR filter purchased here, but it looks all over saturated and blown out even when I take the exposure level in game to 0... what is going on? Any tips?

It does reset it but if you have the data tab open you can watch the wetness drop to 0% then starts climbing to 100% as puddles start to reappear. It's strange because it was working fine for a few weeks. The only other issue I've had after .222 update is every now and then the app bar will keep popping up on the right side in game and the only way I've found to make it stop is to unpin pure planner and config apps.

Thank you for everything you do Peter. I'm hoping maybe you can help me with an issue. For some reason I'm having an issue with puddles and track wetness on dry weather settings. I'll even switch to wet then switch back to dry and the puddles disappear then reappear. I have everything set to dynamic and the wetness keeps increasing from 0 to 100% on its own. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Those weather presets are just called "Clear (Sol)". But it does not matter. They are just there because of compatibility reasons. We actually do many fixing now in CSP and Pure Planner. So maybe please wait for the new versions.

Pure. Last plan used not checked. Start plan with race not checked. Cm weather - scattered clouds. Start wetness and start puddles on auto. Did a few more races, on same track (spa) and each time it came up with SOL. Sometimes dust, sometimes thunderstorm. Really no rhyme or reason to it. Sol is not on my pc. Did an uninstall with the bat file and checked assetto root folder. Nothing there or in assetto documents folder, either. I do have "load information about replays" checked in settings. No major event, just strange.

Just have a look at the bottom of the update post. You always need a CSP preview version for rain! It is linked there and the video will also show you how you need to install it!

I turned on the rain setting for a race and now I can not get the rain to stop. I did switch it back to Pure and I deactivated it. The prerace screen still shows rain and you can hear the rain, when the race does start it is sunny.

OK, i have tried just running install.bat and the black box does complete and say it is installed ok, then i go in settings into weathert fx to check for pure and it is selected, then check PP filter and is set correct to PURE HDR, theni check DXGI seetings as per your HDR tutotrial pdf and all is correct, then i check Drive menu and it is set to pure, then i go in game and it is dark, pure planner is nothing and pure config says i dont have PURE, green box to click saying 'activate pure' but still nothing...thankyou for your help. What next? :)

You don't need to uninstall it. The installer already removes the older version. Just use the install_pure.bat Maybe also try to run it as admin.

I have, i extract with 7 zip to desktop, now i have a yellow folder like you also have in the video, then i double click on uninstall pure bat and the black screen pops up and i select, steam, steam apps, common, assetto corsa and click next and then it just dissapears, it does run...sorry for the troubles but its not working...

Hey Oeter, I’ve ran into a few issues with Pure so I thought an easy way to fix was to uninstall and re install but running the uninstall pure.bat isn’t uninstalling, I select the AC root folder, click to go ahead and then the black box just vanishes…can you show me another way perhaps? I have installed this version of Pure (after updating to the latest CSP). I already had SOL so this time I removed it, following the advice on this webpage and thinking it would be redundant and unnecessary. However, now my hotkeys for going forwards and backwards in time don't work and I cannot find any configuration options for that. Am I missing something? I've search everywhere in Content Manager and in the Pure app. If this is not implemented, will it be? Another similar feature I would love to see is the possibility of defining hotkeys for manually selecting the weather types I want.

Hi Peter, this latest version of Pure is just amazing. The sun glare gives AC a whole new dimension and look & feel. However, I have a question: I run AC on multiple pc's and when I run an online session on a local network, the sun's state and skybox are not completely in sync. If I choose to run a session in the twilight (Yas Marina) for instance, on one pc the sun is still visible just above the horizon whereas on the other pc the sun has gone down already. The time seems to be synced well since I read the same time from the clock in the pit as an example. Is there some way to sync this? Would be amazing if you could help. Kind regards, Remy

If you still have Sol installed, set the wipers if on Sol Planner to -2. Otherwise Pure Planner does not control the wipers anymore. You can set auto wipers in weatherFX or you can bind them to a key or control in the CSP control setup.

Actually Godrays or the new Sun blinding shader do not work in "Singhle Pass Stereo" mode. It will need some development, to get it working in this mode. Those effects need to be rendered in an own render pass per eye to be calculated correctly.

I have checked the lua debvug app. Theres two red dots the first one is on 'weatherfx impl.' and it says 'no skydome could be found in C:/users/jamie/desktop/steam/steamapps/common/assetto corsa/extension/config-ext/pure/skydome_sets/'

I am having the same issue as Hari Chan. Whenever i activate pure it makes my fps drop to around 10/15fps, makes the pure config flicker and i am unable to press anything in the pure config menu to change anything. I have everything needed already installed (sol.2.2.9) (csp0.2.1-preview2) (pure0.222 have also followed the tutorials in the videos provided exactly however I'm still getting the same issue

Yeah I dunno man, I must be dumb-ish but really the stamp plan will not fix the issue. I just tried it. It will make me start at 4pm whatever I do, whether I save it or not. Hi Peter, and the community, Everything's working great, there's just something I can't seem to be able to do. Running solo practice offline, I'm setting a Pure Planner config that I like, in the season/time of the day/weather that I like. Saving it as json, but when I load it, it's just loading the weather preset, neither the time of the day nor the date. So I basically have to reconfigure everytime, which is kind of annoying. Any feedback on that ?

It happened to me and some of my friends. A fresh install of csp, sol, pure did it. I heard, that you could also only use csp and pure (without sol) by now. Fresh install means deinstall it and afterwards delete everything of it by hand (double check with your downloaded sol and pure .zip files, which folders have sol and pure data in it and delete all of it. Then install the new data.

So, I've extracted the zip to my desktop, and even ran the uninstall sol and install pure .bat as administrator, but for some reason it doesn't seem to do anything. In weather FX, I only have Sol available to select and not Pure. Am I doing anything wrong?

yes go into the sol planner. On the top right corner there should be an option .. i dont know exactly what it was called. Something like "difficulty" or maybe a different word. The higher the number, the more realistic are the rain phyiscs. The lower the number, the easier it gets.

If you don't use it anymore, you could uninstall it. But you can't leave it installed. Just deactivate the Sol Planner wiper control in it's settings. Set it to -2. Then it don't do anything. You can also deactivate Sol Planner app. This is maybe the recommendation, if you only use Pure Planner app then....

1st and 3rd are CSP problems. 2nd: Please install Pure again. It will install the Sol weather presets again. 4nd: You can still have Sol installed and use Sol Planner and Sol controller. What were the problems if you had it installed?

There is no special config for night in Pure and CSP. Just install it like it is shown in the install video. Day and night are no separate things. You just set the time to night in CM drive or in-game via Pure Planner app.

Hello Mr. Boese, im working on a Pure fixes video for youtube. There are right now these things i couldnt figure out, maybe u can help (i would appreciate). Since installed the new pure, the smoke coming out of chimneys of houses beside the track, can be seen thrue the sidewalls and trees. How can i fix this? 2nd. i had sol and pure installed. This lead to bugs and i deinstalled sol and installed pure. But now when im in contend manager - drive tab i cant pick a sol or pure weather preset (only the stock ones are visable).3rd. Now after install the water splash from cars wheels can be seen thrue the car and also from the inside of the car. How can i fix this? And last 4th: while driving, the old sol planner is gone and the pure planner is visible. But sadly i think the sol planner is way easier and more comfortable to use. Hey Peter, reading other responses to narrow down my issue - I do have extra effects turned on in the weather tab for CSP. I have no errors or warnings on Pure Config main tab. I am using SMAA in the graphics adjustment tab of CSP. Should this be turned to something else?

I was getting an error, but I can't remember what it said. I feel like it said something about PURE config, but I pressed the button to fix, all labels are now green, and I still have the flickering sun when the sunblinder shader is activated. Sorry, I didn't think to pay too much attention to the error that was present.

What do you set in video settings and in CSP graphics adjustments. MSAA can't have an influence on the sunblinding shader. I have it activated too and it also does not make a difference what I set in the post processing AA. The sunblinding shader does not work in SinglePassStereo mode, which you probably set in CSP VR tweaks.

Having an issue now where the sun is overpowering view, not like direct brightness but more so it washes out the image, everything becomes very dark and barely visible regrdless of PPFilter used and Aalising settings changes, or glare itself. You are right. I have already reset the Pure config settings to default. Now I've also completely reset all my CSP and AC settings - I've been experimenting and adjusting a lot of things for months, so I really needed an all-back-to-default. And then of course I reinstalled Pure. Now everything is OK even if I don't tick the "Replace YEBIS with lightweigt alternative" box.

You need to install the latest CM like shown in the video for that option in weatherFX.

This actually just prevents the Yebis godrays. So maybe reset your pure settings and the option unchecked should work again.

Maan, this is awesome! I was just able to try 0.222. The first time I used the Pure PP filter the image was too bright, as someone wrote above. Why was that? Because I was lazy and did not read the "new features and changes" readme. Then I read it and ticked the "Replace YEBIS with lightweigt alternative" box in the CSP 2.01/WeatherFX menu. As you wrote.:) Fixed! So this upgrade turned out incredible, very lifelike experience. Thanks!!!

If the filter has a custom tone mapping, you reset it in the script settings. Scroll down. There you see buttons for the script settings.

Yea I got the warning and hit the ’ fix it ‘ tab but still the same. It’s like a weird grainy filter I think it’s the sun blinding. Also pureHDR drops my FPS below 40, it usually averaged 90-100 prior to the update.

Not sure why but enabling a vpn connection to download from MediaFire solved the network error download failed issue. Thank you for Pure it just gets better all the time and looks incredible.

Thank you Peter, I wasn't expecting attention from the Man himself, thought maybe someone else might have had the issue, but very much appreciate your response. Unfortunately I am having the issue with the links in the Patreon post. I just tried using my phone as a hotspot, to access www in a different way, but I had the same network error. The file appears to download and then at the very end of the download the error is generated, in every case that I've tried so far. I will try again using someone elses PC this evening in the hope that maybe all my pcs have some software that is causing the error.

Just look if the Pure Config main page shows some warnings if you experience such things. Its not meant to have such effects.

Is anyone else having trouble downloading pure 0.222? Mega says file doesn't exist and Mediafire fails with network error! I have tried Win 7, Win 10 and Win 11 machines, in different buildings on different networks with different internet access, using Brave, Edge and Opera browsers. The result is the same every time. "Network Error" when there isn't any network issue at all! Any ideas? Thanks.

Hi Peter, thanks for the latest update and all the work you do to keep improving AC. I had the new Pure VR filter looking great the other night. Tonight it looks different and I haven’t changed anything at all. I’ve had this before when a filter looks great then not the next time I load it almost like something isn’t loading correctly and I have to go back to using no pp filter again. Tried reinstalling but wondered if there was anything I can’t try or change in the settings?

Sometimes I find it easier to uninstall Assetto Corsa completely and start fresh. That way you don't have bunch old stuff possibly causing any issues. I know it takes awhile to get the mods etc to play online servers but really do we need 2tb or cars? :) cheers

customPP is at its start of the development. Glare needs some work for sure. SPS is really tricky. Effects like godrays and the determination of the sun position really need a pass, where the render is made per eye, so you have only 1 sun in the picture. In SPS you have 1 picture for 2 eyes and so also 2 suns. So SPS is really compromising such render effects.

Pure only controls the rain. RainFX is a modul in CSP. It will not be visible in CSP 0.2 public, no matter what Pure version you use. But you will hear it with Pure, because Pure has its own rain sounds. Those wil work in CSP public too.

Great work once again. Any chance the landscape and sun blinding features will work with Single Pass Stereo in the future? VRS is such a massive visual and performance boost that it's hard to go back. I also noticed with CustomPP that emissive lights are super bright and saturated with the pureVR filter at default settings. If I switch back to YEBIS they look as expected. Is this expected behaviour or would it be some other setting affecting it?

They have only an effect if you select the 3d billboard clouds (clouds render method 0). If skydomes are selected (default), no setting makes a difference in terms of quality or performance. So they are only visible, if you use clouds render method 0.

Love the new VR PP filter. it is superb! by far the best filter I have seen for VR.

I had a trouble to make Pure PP filter work in VR - on the monitor preview I could see everything but VR gogles remained all back. I had to turn off "AMD FidelityFX Super Resolution" in the Graphics Adjustments tab to fix the issue (even though I have an AMD card and it worked before). Still, I can use "Use FidelityFX CAS by AMD for extra sharpness" in the Post-processing aliasing section. Leaving it there, maybe it'll save someone some time if the same problem occurs.

Yes, because this are only weather presets. Those are just there for the compatibility with Sol and championships and such. It is the best way to leave it like this....

I was able to race all day in practice (online). But on change to race this evening all my screen went pretty much black. I could not get it to normal, even in offline drive. Turned out i had to disable the new "replace YEBIS" feature. Then all was ok again.

Ok, just like it happened with the CSP Install, you and Ilja really need to update the installation process, to really get rid of every bug possible. Even knowing that the regular installation goes fine, it doesn't mean that it will not get some crashes, bugs, stutters, laggs, etc. The only and best way to be sure that the installation it's ok, it's as follows: First, execute the uninstall bat that correspond to the Pure version that you have, then go to Steam library, Assetto Corsa, properties, Installed Files, and click on Verify Integrity of files (I don't know how to do this with no Steam installs) ... Then, drag and drop the CSP files (extension forlder and dll) on the root AC folder, replace/overwrite everything. Then, reset the settings of CSP at the "General Patch Settings", click at the bottom of the list RESET, same with the "Graphics Adjustments", RESET... (NOTE: In some cases, it will be needed to do this reset step with some other Extensions on the CSP list) after all that, finally execute the Install Pure Bat with the newest version. Only in this way I finally got a "no problems", errors, bugs, stuttering, etc AC Game. Totally smooth all the time. Please share and/or advice this steps somewhere, people will never get a the true best results possible if you don't do this. And Thanks as always, for your amazing work.

This version of Pure requires CSP 0.2 or later. Install the 0.2 update to CSP in the Content Manager Settings | Custom Shader Patch | About & Updates section.

Ops, my fault! I think I was on the very last CSP release. This sunblinding shader is amazing, it looks like another game. I have been playing with sliders to put it to my liking. I haven't tried the VR ppfilter yet.

So, I was getting very bright glare on the road surface and setting the exponent high fall off wasn't helping that much. Solved it by reducing input brightness at PP tab to 1.0 then editing the pureHDR PP filter script, DXGI HDR, final brightness 4, to bring the brightness back up without the glare. Good results so far. Of course someone can tweak these to whatever settings suits them best. Cheers!

Thanks Peter! The VR filter is amazing and has really improved VR performance. Racing in the rain, just keeps getting better and better with the updates. Also, does anyone know how to get the rear wing lights to turn on and flash during a race in the rain on the Formula Hybrid 2023 F1 car?

Thanks Peter, this is a game changer. I was having some odd autoexposure artefacts with my own custom ppfilter and pure script I had been running with the previous version but I rebuilt it using your pureHDR as a baseline and everything works great now. And the game looks fantastic! I spent a couple of hours last night driving around my favourite tracks and seeing them in a whole new light... Amazing!

there's no thunder effect in Pure 0.222, So I used sol if I want thunder effect. doesn't it realize thunder effect in pure not yet?? and more, do you have a plan to make snow weather? (Now... ony rain appears...)

Hi Peter, I just installed everything (and also the latest CSP) but Pure does not appear in the wather selection of the drive menue, Pure planner tells me that the contoller is not running and that I should select pure in the drive menue, but there it does not exist. Help please!

I haven't tried the latest version, but I have some problems with trees disappearing in the distance with the previous ones (CSP 346 / Pure 205). So I doubt the the cause is Pure, maybe CSP related ? I will try to reproduce your case when I can.

You need to be running CSP 0.2 or later for Pure 0.222. Update CSP to 0.2 in Content Manager in the Settings | Custom Shaders Patch section.

I'm wondering how to get my rain to work? I can hear it, change clouds etc. But i don't actually see it... Any help?

Do you think it really helps, if you post the same thing again and again. Just watch the install video and do the steps exactly like there and it will work. It's a thing of 5 minutes.

This is awesome update - everything looks fantastic :) But I prefer PURE over PureVR for my Pimax VR. Did some tweaks to PURE and it has never looked better and still running 60fps (more than enough for me with motion smoothing on and 144hz headset) Thank you thank you thank you !!

AFTER UPDATING AND HAVING THE NEWEST PREVIEW VERSION, THERES A BUG THAT IF I TURN RAIN ON AND HAPPEN TO BE USING A EXT CONFIG FOR TREES THEY JUST DISAPPEAR, ALSO SEEMS PUDDLES ARE NOT RENDERING AS WELL...

I'm having a ton of fun with it. I'm genuinely impressed. I just have a few very bright spots where the sun hits. The sun itself at low angles can get pretty intense. I guess that's the only main thing that needs tweaking for now. Otherwise, it's amazing!

You can tweak it even further for your needs, just play with its tone mapping settings in Pure Config "PP" tab. In the HDR tutorial i tried to explain what it actually do.

Peter, thank you. I have struggled for months to get other PP Filters, pure HDR Eye included, to look crisp and consistent in HDR. It was never easy, having to dig deep into script settings to get something decent. pureHDR is a masterpiece. Worked straight off the bat and its actually using HDR's range. I'm even seeing details and lighting I never used to, lol. THANK YOU. Seriously, am an overjoyed supporter. Can't wait for what's next. Cheers!

Sorry but, a lot better performance with 205 using any PPFilter in VR. Many stutters with 222 (4090 , i9 13900K, so no hardware excuses I think). Tested 3 times (205, 222 back to 205, always using uninstall bat and install bat), always with CSP 0.2.1, same results. Hope you can fix it , Thanks

Ok, I removed my post. I found the error. READE BEFORE WRITE :-D . "Pure 0.222 needs CSP 0.2". I used the 442 and hadn't read it. Installed 0.2 and now everything works great.

I already have CM installed. Do I have to reinstall it? It doesn’t suit me. CSP and Pure have been reinstalled but still this black sky with this version. When I go back to the previous version I no longer have the problem

1. No errors on main. 2. After config cleanup the issue persists. 3. Yes, all settings set according to docs. except Win10 instead of Win11 4. After Pure Reset the image is good(amazing) (BTW just press Load button also works). No visible issues with grass/road/skyes.

The new version of content manager doesn't have RainFX at all. Not unactivated just not available. Not there at all. Very strange.

I'm on last CM version and now I have updated to Pure 0.222. I can't get pure script running correctly (black sky). I have selected it on WeatherFX and I have tried deleting weather_fx.ini in Documents and steampp sub-folder. I have reinstall CM and Pure several times. I don't know what else to do.

Does the Pure Config app "Main" page shows some errors? You can also try to delete the Pure config file in /assettocorsa/extension/config-ext/Pure. Delete the "pure_config.ini". On the next start, a new file with default values will be created.

Great job! Thanks. I have a question: When I start the race, the entire image appears overexposed, so each time, I need to open the settings and select 'Reset Pure' or 'Reset to Defaults'. This action fixes the image. I've attempted to save the configurations, and all the values seem correct, but when I start the race again, the problem recurs, and I have to reset the settings once more. Do you have any recommendations?

First of all, thank you always for the extraordinary work. I wanted to point out that with the PureVR filter and the high sun the autoexposure is a bit annoying, let me explain better the filter continues to change brightness based on the direction of the sun, so if you have the sun in front of you the exposure is lowered if instead you have the sun from behind and the exposure rises, these continuous changes in brightness are very annoying in VR. I would prefer a fixed exposure that doesn't distract me with continuous changes during the ride!

Thank you Peter...just in time too. I just emailed IIja earlier today on an issue I was having with CSP wherein it would crash, unless RainFX was unchecked. This, along with his new update gives me an opportunity for a new start. Hopefully his fix gives me rain again.

You can use any PPfilter, but i just recommend to use PPfilters made for Pure. So just look at the description of the PPFilter and if the modders says its made for Pure then it should be ok.
