Reports of constant crashes with NVIDIA driver

!!! NVIDIA users with driver 526.98 !!!
If you got AC/CSP crashes, please roll back to driver version 526.86.
This will probably fix the crashes...

Is there a folder in the AC root folder /apps/lua/pure config/?

Peter Boese

the whole app

2P_FLOW

The whole app, or is just the app window like collapsed?

Peter Boese

My Pure Config won’t pop up anymore

a présent tout est parfait , merci pour votre gentillesse et votre travail , merci .

That's OK. It's the Sol Planner and the Sol controller which both use. I will do a new version of Pure with those soon.

Peter Boese

message dans mods , (some files are overwritten by "sol 2.2.5")

What you see is the controller version. 2.2.5 is the version of the Sol weather script. Pure weather script is much more advanced. Sol is old, but I still do bugfixing. Atm Pure has no own weather controller or weather planner script. So it uses Sol's controller ("Sol 2.2" ) and Sol Planner app.

Peter Boese

how do i know if i installed it right im using pure and i have the sol planner and no problems but is there a way to tell if i have sol 2,2,5 cause in the cm it only says sol 2,2

Luisito Rodriguez

yes

I’m sorry i went to 0.1.77

Did you update to Sol 2.2.5?

Peter Boese

sol planner app is not showing ingame :(

526.98 is a very problematic driver for ampere cards in general, 3060TI's not getting detected at all etc.

Did you follow the intall guide? You used the latest Sol 2.2.5 version? Do you run Pure without Sol 2.2.5?

Peter Boese

sol planner app is not showing ingame can someone help

Its just a try to solve crashes. I don't have problems with this driver. But other could solve their crashes by roling back...

Peter Boese

But what did you update too? CSP or something else?

Peter Boese

Sure, but i have reports from many users, where a rollback to the older nvidia driver is a solution. So sure the problem might be in a combination of things. But in the time we need to test and find out, it is a working solution. Actually using the "Studio" drivers, could be a solution too. I had some situations, where this fixes other problems.

I'm running a 6800XT and i have constant crash now

Simon Lacoste

I am running a 2080ti using the 526.98 drivers. I have used the latest CSP release along with the above, extensively since it's release 2 days ago. I have had 0% crashes or errors during this period, around 15 hours of No Hesi which uses AC as it's base program. It would seem that maybe the issue is system specific?
