So have been playing around with some settings a bit and with sol 2.2.5 and the latest version of pure the weather / lightning seems to reload, the pure config app force closes and the weather seems to reload, what could be the cause of this? Liking it so far, VR has not seen this good in like ever :D ---- Fixed ------ This was related to OneDrive syncing files hence the restart of the pure apps due to syncing the config files!

Even in third person camera? Im going to experiment a bit more tommorow, motion blur feels so much weaker. I remember it being similar to the default photo mode dof strength

Lmao, calm down. If you dislike it, unfollow him. You've handled 6 days of "$25" billing, yet you still haven't unsubscribed from his patreon? And what Chris says is true, which makes it even more ironic. It is patreon automated. When you follow someone (using money, obviously), it isn't the creator of the page that controls your money, but patreon. @paul pascoe you know Peter doesn't actually do anything to accept your money right? It is all automated through patreon. You should go into PATREON support to get this sort of issue sorted instead of complaining on here SMH

You save the Pure Config settings with "Save". The values you see under the "script" button are script settings. Every ppfilter script can have different UI elements like sliders or checkboxes. To save your setting of a script, use the "save script settings" button below the script UI elements.

Just a little thing I found out - have to change the value everytime I start the game. It seems the SAVE function doesn't keep this setting. EDIT: nevermind, got it, had to save the script settings beforehand

If you open the Pure Config app, select the "PP" tab and use internal exposure mix slider to adjust the balance of Cubemap Brightness Exposure and Autoexposure.

Just checked, it's at 100% right now and was before. I never touched that setting.

Hello Peter or other guys who might help. I have Pure 0.142 and I use pure PP filters. I like the pureCandy one but it get's noticably darker when in 1st person mode than in 3rd person. I tried different cars, even cars without tinted windshields or without roofs and results are still the same. Is there something I can do to fix that? The only fix I found so far is to switch in to 1st person, switch PP for some non-pure one and put pure filter back. I made screenshots for comparison here https://imgur.com/a/0mIBXke

Just try to use CSP 1.78. Actually it's realy an old bug. Are you sure you have Pure 0.142b running and not an older Sol version? What does the Pure Config app says in its upper text line?

Hi Peter, did a fresh install of it all today. AC via Steam. CSP, Pure and Natural Mod. So SCP 0.1.76 (upgraded from 0.1.73 when I read the Pure instructions) and Pure 0.14b. For PP filter I used the freshly installed Natural Mod Filter 14

Hi Peter, i have a problem when using OpenVR. I have to "reset Pure" every session in-game, in order to get the correct brightness. When I start in VR the picture turns really dark after 1-2 secs. Only reset fixes this. Is there a way tot fix this?

Just ignore it, if you have this setting. Could be Pure Config can't read the setting....

You mean Sol Config app is not working. Pure Config app is only for Pure. For Sol you must use Sol Config app....

There are 2 render methods. 3d clouds and skydome textures.

I just try to do it realistic. Can you see galaxies with your eyes in a city or near cities? But just select no clouds weather and open Pure Config app, goto "night" tab and uncheck "stars brightness adaption".

I just updated to the 0.142 and installed the high res skydome and one of those two broke the night sky. It used to have the nice one where you can see the cosmic dust and galaxies, and now it's straight black with some scattered white dots as stars. I'm on Quest2, I don't know if that is a bug or anything. Does anyone have this issue? I'm on 0.1.79 Preview BTW.

The sliders don't work, They just disappear whenever I put my cursor on it

After your message, I did the uninstall bat and then install bat. Same problem. It says Pure Config 0.90, the CSP version and the Pure 0.00

I used the install_pure bat file before. then copied the high res skies separately.

Did you use the install script? Install_pure.bat Maybe also try to use the uninstall_pure.bat and then reinstall via install_pure.bat

Have also just tested it out and can confirm it. No wiper traces (outside) at 0.142. When switching back to 0.115, it works again. No change in the CSP version.

Same here. Except I have issues with wiper traces on vehicles. The trace would only be visible from the interior. Disabled 0.142 and it works just fine.

Puddles and wet roads (rain) are a feature of the custom shader patch (preview version only) and have nothing to do with Pure.
