Here are the inks for the first 4 pages of Dead By Daylight Issue 1.

The script opens on a nightmare sequence that I wanted to feel chaotic, and kinetic.

I tried to incorporate oddly shaped panels to make things feel uneasy, and otherworldly, and slowly build to page 4‘s panel breaks.

Nadia, the writer, suggested breaking up panels in the final page of the nightmare with some tendrils of the Entity. That was fun and challenging to try to make work.

I think the overwhelming nature of them in the fourth page suitably shows an otherworldly influence creeping into the psyche of the members of Legion, starting with Frank.

Once the issue gets released, I will be able to go into more depth about my decisions around the entire issue, and perhaps try to glean some insight into why I made the decisions I made, and how I tried to build off of them in issues 2-3.
