BTS: Ship Reveal Takes Compilation
Added 2021-05-21 20:11:08 +0000 UTCIt usually takes me a bunch of tries to get anything right. Here are all the camera takes of the shot where I introduce the screen-used miniature of the ship in the FON video.
We shot it with the jib crane, pulling focus remotely and it took this many attempts to get the move + focus + performance right together. Now picture this for almost every scene/shot of the hosting segments :P

There was a possibility of getting some more never-before-seen pics of the ship interior and Max construction process, but it just didn't work out. I also tried really hard to verify some of the finer details of the CG stuff with additional Omnibus folks, but in the end I had to go ahead with what I had. I was worried back then, but it turned out okay!
