Progress Update: Significance for the Doofy

G'monday, foundry maintenance crew!

Before I lean into the news about the show, a little personal note: things are good. The show's coming together for 2019 in a fascinating way already, but more than that, my personal life is petering out at the moment in ways I couldn't have predicted back in January.

If you're around for Forge sessions and livechats in the near future, you're bound to hear about more of this stuff in detail. For now, suffice it to say that the vibes are good in Benji's world and the momentum great.

Things are happening, many of them I hadn't planned for.

Let's talk about it.

Where are we now?

A liiiittle more than 1/3 of the way through production of the first episode of our Pratchett series. At the moment I've done nearly all I can do visually without Felipe's art, but even that is coming along swimmingly.

In fact, I have some proof here.

I'm not presently at liberty to explain the significance of dragon and doofy dragon, but what I can say is they look fabulous, just like the rest of the art Felipe's made for this video so far.

If things go as expected, you can expect some amazing things out of this episode. 

What's next?

Too much to report, honestly.

What I can say with any level of brevity is that the list video will come out far more quickly than the episode. The script and audio are prepared—all we need is art, music, and animation, which are all relatively (and intentionally) pretty simple for lists.

We've also got new merchandise and some exciting developments about our store on the way! 

But that stuff can wait.

First, we've got videos to make.
