Progress Update: A Plunger in Application

Alright, all y'all helpful humans. I've learned my lesson.

Never again with a list this long. At least not when the subject matter is as densely-populated with brilliant ideas and concepts as Terry Pratchett's work. Honestly, just choosing what to put into the outline was a several-day-long task.

That said, I've got some news about the Pratchett series and some other exciting things beside.

Let's chat about it, shall we?

Where are we now?

Near completion with the hardest part of the Pratchett series—the dang writing. 

Even with my pneumonia a few weeks back, this series has been stuck in the plumbing for a long time now. Nothing to do with the difficulty of Pratchett or his writing, which has been nothing but a joy to me. It's mostly the sheer volume and quality of the material. Feeling like I've nailed the description of a character or a concept from Pratchett's work is difficult to achieve, and I've been noodling about with it in the list script for the better part of a week at this point.

But at last, I'm just about done. I've studied no less then 30 books and 18 character profiles for this video, and I think it'll pay off as a nice middle ground between character synopses for those of you who are already fans and introductions for those of you who aren't.

In a list of technically eight items, I presently only have one left to write.

What's next?

Well, I'm not sure if I announced this yet in any official capacity, buuuut...

We're officially going to begin releasing limited-time, series-specific merch as of this Pratchett series!  

I'm ecstatic about this. The boomarks were super fun and I'm glad you all enjoyed them so much, but those were only available to Patrons when they were released. These enamel pins will be available to everyone for purchase, and all Patrons will get to apply their tier discount.

Overall I thing these are going to be a lot of fun. It'll be great to aggregate a little army of themed taleoids that match all the topics we've covered on the show. I know I'm going to dedicate some space on my backpack to this express cause...
