Progress Update: Responsibility and Necessity Reign

G'monday, all y'all helpful humans!

The start of a brand-squeaking-new week. Time to re-calibrate and get that schedule in good working order. I'm off to a slow start myself, but progress is progress, however minute it may be.

Shall we talk about it?

Where are we now?

In the middle of creating this Patreon drive!

Today I'll be planning out the visuals, and then I'll be creating assets and stringing things together over the course of the next week/week and a half. Although the complete, edited audio is ~7 minutes in length, I don't expect this video to take anything near the amount of time a normal episode does.

That, on account of the fact that Talebot spends most of the video reminiscing about the last year, which, surprise, I already have plenty of material for.

And for all your reading this who have been watching the show over the last year, perhaps partaking in more intimate exchanges with me than many in the larger community, getting to know all my little plans and secrets and such, never fear. There will be a pinch of the new in this video. Just a pinch, but enough for the love to be there.

What's next?

Well, tangential to the upcoming drive and the show's production are its possible future prospects for sponsorship. Those are a thing, and they require some careful planning.

in particular, they'll require me to commit to upload dates for videos long in advance. Which meeeeans... very likely I'll be commiting to upload a video on the first day of every other month. That's a long period of time, but that's about the size of things right now. Which means the first Terry Pratchett video may be finished in the middle of March, but it can't go live until (probably) April.

Although I'll be the last one to complain about upload a Terry Pratchett video on April Fools...

A lot of planning and preparation at the moment to make sure the show has a steady future. Boring materially, but excited in concept.

I'll have more interesting things to share with all of you in this weeks Patreoncast.

For now, let responsibility and necessity reign.
