Sneak Peek: Updates and Changes

I have a bit of unfortunate but important news for you guys. After some reflection, I'm beginning to realize that sharing a video sneak peek with you every week isn't exactly feasible. There are two reasons for this:
1 — I don't always have material. Sometimes I'll be deep in the writing process, sometimes I'll be in the middle of editing audio, neither of which are exactly conducive the visual medium of video. Squeezing out a mandatory sneak peek at a particular time every week just ain't working the way I'd hoped. It'll be easier when I have a bigger team.
2 — It's impacting my ability to make the show. It seems like a little thing, but it takes around 10-20 minutes to record a sneak peek, up to 30 minutes to edit, 3 hours to render, 2 hours to upload to youtube, and about 15-20 minutes to post on Patreon. And that's excluding some extraneous bits involving other prospective team members, like requesting time-lapse footage of art for instance. All told, a single sneak peek video can cost me about 6.5 hours (5 of which are AFK, but still), which ain't a small amount of time.
It's important to be honest about things with you guys, although it is hard to change rewards on you. The show's health has to come first.
In the meantime, I'll be experimenting with some alternatives. An audio, pod-cast-y type thing might be doable, if that's something y'all are interested in. During weeks where I don't have visual content to spoil, I could just nerd out for a few minutes about what I'm learning and how excited I am to put it into the show.
So that's a thought.
