Progress Update: The Neverending Story

HAS FINALLY COME TO AN END.

That's right. I'm making real progress with the show again. No more floundering in the mud with this impossible project in the middle of my worst period.

Let's talk about how things have gone from difficult, to horrifying, to hopeful over the last week.

Where are we now?

Lordy, but this short has taken a long time to finish writing. Apologies. This has been the most turbulent season of the Foundry's life, but I feel we're finally actually coming out of it. As fans flock to the Patreon to keep the breath in it and I connect with sponsors and other creators to bolster the show's income, I see nothing but bright horizons surrounding me.

It's like we've turned Google's decision to de-monetize the show into a galvanizing force. Bottled up the frustration and fear and uncertainty, and then poured it into our collective creative engine.

Officially, I am finishing up revision for the story. There are some serious, serious changes happening to this thing, but I should be able to breeze right through them. The plan is to have the story art for this Thursday's sneak peek, and the complete, edited audio by Friday afternoon. The video should be out (at long last!) before the month's end.

What's next?

So much, honestly.

I don't know what in particular I can say about the sponsorship connections I've made, but they're incredibly timely and incredibly appreciated. I've sort of stumbled into a network of supportive, kind, intelligent creators that I never really knew existed. I have a lot to thank James from the youtube channel Suibhne for. If you're reading this, I appreciate you so much. ❤️

Between this development and the outpouring of support from all of you incredible humans, it looks like I'm soon going to have access to resources I never expected. After Tale Foundry's official Patreon Drive in January, it should all be sunshine and lollipops and blessed momentum. 2019 should be the show's most exciting year yet.

But first we have to get through this rough patch, which I absolutely know we will.

Your patience and your support have been everything to me. Without all of you, it wouldn't have been "Tale Foundry is in danger" when I lost monetization—it would have just been "Tale Foundry is out of luck."

Thank you for making this show possible. ❤️

Now, back to making stuff up.
