It's time to prepare your fine-tuned engineer minds for another Think Tank session!
All patrons at the $10 tier or higher are welcome to join us Friday, August 31st, 6:30pm CST to help us brainstorm and make some important decisions!
As always, this is your opportunity to prepare some ideas for the session. So, read on to see what we'll be discussing!
What's on our minds?
Two long weeks have passed since our last session, and many things have happened. Among these, new steps to toward the long-prophesied DFTBA merchandising partnership! You can see our store page here.
We've already discussed a bit about what our capabilities and options will be through DFTBA, and with the help of our larger community we've decided we want to start with keychains and bookmarks. The first thing we'll need to move forward with this is a design, but even before that we'll need some ideas.
And that's more or less what this think tank is going to be all about: what should we put on our new keychains and bookmarks? How should we design them?
Let's talk about it
In case your need a little fuel for the creative fire, here are some things to think about that might help stoke the flame a bit:
- If you personally could have anything on a Tale Foundry bookmark or keychain, what would it be?
- Should we stick with our usual aesthetic, or vary things up a little?
- Should we make some more generic designs that people who aren't as invested in the lore/brand might be interested in as well?
- Should we do a package of bookmarks with different designs on them, or one or two independent bookmarks that are very, very high quality?
- What clever things could we try to do with the keychain? Moving parts? Should we stick to something simple and charm-like?
- Would you be more eager to see Talebot or the Taleoids on merchandise? Both?
- Are you more excited about the keychain or the bookmarks?
- What are some quotes from the show you'd love to see on merchandise?
Now, get thinkin'! We're really looking forward to all the ideas and suggestions you guys will bring to the table this time. Feel free to draft up drawings if you'd like—we've had engineers do that in the past, and it was great fun!
If you're a $10+ patron and want to help us come up with ideas for our forthcoming merchandise, come join us for a think tank session on our Discord server!
We'll be online Friday, August 31st, from 6:30pm-7:30pm CST. Make sure your Patreon account is linked to your Discord account (click here to see how), otherwise you won't be able to join the #thinktank channel where we'll be talking.
