Howdy, patrons!
I'll be honest; 2020 was not my best year. I struggled mightily with writing anything through the pandemic, and everything I've tried to get myself back in gear just didn't work. It really didn't help that some new horrible thing happened just about every week to throw me off my game. I really have no idea how others were able to get anything done creatively, but my hat's off to them.
One of my biggest issues with writing last year (and in general) is one of perfectionism. I have excellent taste in porn, after all, and I know that my ability isn't quite where I want it to be -- and nowhere close to the writers I've been hoping to emulate through this Patreon experiment. But I'm not going to get any better if I don't write. So...that's the goal. To just write and have something up every week. Even if it's terrible. I figure that the folks who've stuck around so far will just be glad to read something, even if it's bad -- and the folks who prefer nothing to bad writing will find other worthy Patreons to support!
So, please bear with me as I work to get my act together. I'll have a bit of story up later this week (if not today) -- with diligent effort, it will be edited and posted on SoFurry in a month's time.
I hope everyone had a great holiday and New Year, and that you're all being safe and careful out there. Let me know if there's anything you'd like to see as a story snippet or serial! I'll take suggestions…

I'm not surprised at all that last year ended up taking the fight out of you and I don't think you can really be blamed for it either. The important part is that you're making an effort to break the slump you've been in and I'm definitely up for seeing what you'll come up with! As you said, at the end of the day, the best way to move forward is to just keep writing. I don't necessarily have anything specific to suggest, but maybe a doing some good, old-fashioned self-indulgent fanfiction might be fun. Just pick a character you'd especially love to see more content of and then load up your favorite possible scenario starring that character! Horny or not, just go all in.
