I think I’ve accidentally created a bit of a canon - once again Jake gets lost in a heated kiss! This time with Veronica.
Race of Life fans seem pretty divided when it comes to her - some of you love her, others still haven’t given her a real chance.
So I’m curious… what’s your opinion?
Do you think her story will evolve into something unexpected?

I kind of agree but Jasmine kind of goaded her to do it. Also they've been at each other for leading up to this so its sort of a small boiling point. I think Veronica saw this as opportunity to showcase her confidence and assets (not complaining haha). And since the guard was gay it was more for laughs anyway. Just some women being a petty which is everyones right.

2026-02-11 13:42:12 +0000 UTCI already made my opinion known in discord when the last updated dropped, I still detest what you did with her with the whole flashing the 'gay' lifeguard...imo, it goes completely against her character as someone hopelessly in love with the MC and the fact that she notices the MC seeing her doing it and it never gets addressed is not only immersion breaking, but it completely destroys her character for me, because its implied that she sees that as something perfectly normal for a gf to do and a bf to be ok with. At the end of the day she is the character that least needed the risk of adding unsavory content on her route, since she never was a fan favorite, which is the real shame. I still like her body and I will probably still play her routes for completionism sake, but she isn't a route that I'll immerse myself going forward.

2026-02-11 12:05:31 +0000 UTCI replayed a bit and after taking a step back and reminding myself that a character written to have more realistic expectations from their partner doesn't make them a worse LI, I've decided that I like Veronica much more than I used to. My 'gotta catch 'em all' attitude while playing AVNs made it harder to choose Veronica over others. I think being forced to replay 'Being A D.I.K's bullshit free-roam events jaded me toward playing through games multiple times but ROL doesn't share that tedious nonsense so thanks for that.

She's a stone cold fox, supports me in my career and emotionally despite my tendency to... stray... and is caring and creative. Her sex scenes are so interesting - voyeurism, cuckqueen, and the yoga scene. Holy hell is she hot, her facial expressions especially. I still can't get all the Steam achievements because I just can't resist the V
