Tftc dude! I always thought Neji's philosophy was based more on his first impressions of people over their familial status. Like he looked down on Sasuke after his loss to Lee. Even though Naruto made it to the finals he only focused on the fact he was deadlast in the Academy. If Kai really wants to blow Neji's mind he should take him on a mission with Kosuke the Eternsl Genin. Neji will be like oh this 60 year old non clan guy proves my point because he was never able to promote. Then Kosuke shows that he's Kakazu v Kakashi teir and just refuses promotion because he feels unworthy.
