I feel like he should look into getting the magic from inhertance cycle, given the the only real limitation is the amount of energy expenditure, and his immortality means that even if he overreach he'd probably just fall into a temporary coma.

Beacon professors aren't super present, which makes sense when you consider like half of them are part of some clandestine secret society that meets in the school.
