A Little Video About A Little to the Left

Hey! I've been working on something the past few weeks that's still not quite ready (and is probably a bad idea; see this tweet: https://twitter.com/Campster/status/1614820776997425153 )

In the mean time I've uploaded a very short Blips episode about a game I played recently called A Little to the Left! I'm kind of interested in seeing if I could put out these short videos more regularly, since they don't require footage from a million different sources and tend to be really focused. And I have a fair number of games I'd love to just talk about for five or so minutes (complete with footage) ready to go, from Roadwarden to Cultic to Splatter to Card Shark. So if this sort of thing seems like it's worth pursuing in a semi-regular fashion to keep output high, let me know!

I also decided to mess with this short form video for another reason - I put it up on TikTok just to see what the platform would do with it. They've made some strides in recent months to be more compatible with the sort of work I do: they have a "full screen" toggle for videos that aren't in 9:16 to render horizontally on a phone, and they have upped the max length of videos from 10 minutes to 30 minutes if you're uploading from a PC. Both of these things obviously benefit the style I currently work in, so I thought I'd try it out. The results have been... muted, but that's largely because it's a quiet game on a TikTok account with almost no followers. Still, I'd be curious to see how that platform moves with sustained support of these smaller little videos.
