Getting Over It With Bennett Foddy (Spoilers?)

Hey! I just released January's video about a game where you climb a trash mountain with a hammer!  We talk about failure in games, pain and frustration as aesthetic goals, and also I mention Final Fantasy 7 so people can tell me it isn't Aeris, it's Aerith!  Look for those in the comments below the video!

Anyways, I had to drastically rewrite the script in the middle of production because I originally wrote this as an examination of difficulty but slowly realized that's not really what this game was about.  However, I'm still kind of interested in talking about difficulty + how it's used, what it's impact is in game culture, and how we frame it.  I am also super interested in maybe covering Iconoclasts.  Or maybe something completely different.  Does any of that sound exciting to you? As they say on The YouTubes, let me know in the comments!

I would love to hear your thoughts on Iconoclasts. Just finished it myself, and I don't have much of a "take" other than loving it, and I'm itching to hear someone dissect it.
