Conception Maiden Story Setting update

This will probably be a long post. With some help from someone online, the storyline has been revised for Conception Maiden.

This is mainly the setting related to the origin of the aliens and the parasites (as well as a girl who might later be referred to as the Queen of the parasites). So all of this may or may not all be mentioned in the game(work-in-progress):

1) Somewhere in space, advanced united aliens(they are not parasitic) who conquered their solar system entered a civil war. 

2) One faction of these aliens created a biological weapon(the parasitic lifeforms). These parasites lay unfertilized eggs into a host that can dissolve cell membranes around them and absorb genetic material, fertilizing themselves with it.

2b) These parasites also release special pheromones that can influence them to follow one another. The stronger the parasite, the higher the density of the pheromones they release, so often the one with the strongest pheromones would become leader of a group(and the more similar their genetic makeup is, the stronger the appeal of the pheromones, this can influence similarly evolved parasites to form limited groups).

3) To prevent self destruction, the alien faction created a fail-safe.  A virus that's deadly in a matter of hours to days to the parasites(the aliens infected themselves to stay safe since they were immune to the virus). 

4) The virus works in the following way: 

--The virus mainly spreads through the air (the host also exhale small amounts of the virus into the air), but it can also be spread through infected body fluids like spit/sweat, and sexual intercourse(unprotected sex). To be exact, the most common way for the virus to infect people is through inhaling the virus through the mouth or nose, but it's also possible for it to start by infecting the skin and spread.

--Afterwards, the virus tries to infect the entire body, with the head and brain being the main focus. It attempts to make the host more sociable, so the host will interact and spread the virus to others more quickly.  

--It also alters the production of hormones and pheromones. Particularly, the virus is made to decrease the parasites’ sex drive by increasing certain pheromones that would counter other pheromones related to sexual desire(all so parasites would lose interest in procreating, and with no desire to procreate means far less new parasites, though the virus still make the host more social).

-----However, this virus doesn't work the same in humans and the pheromones increased by the virus actually cause human females to have an increased sex drive(the complete opposite effect). Later, parasites that took in any (non-human) earthling genetic code into them also gain a stronger sex drives, in fact one much stronger than humans.

5) Having a rapid reproduction rate however, the parasites also had a high mutation rate, quickly making them resilient to the virus. Small hosts carried the plague through the aliens’ solar system destroying the civilization.

6) One group used a research ship to flee the solar system and low on supplies they reached earth. Needing to resupply they landed. The first meeting went well but the virus that was supposed to ensure the alien’s survival proved lethal to humans. Humanity took it as an attack and fought back against the unarmed civilian refugees.(two Aliens manage to escape, but the others are killed)

7) Some parasites however were on-board the alien vessel in some rodent like hosts, hibernating to wait for a fertile environment to proliferate. In the hopes of finding a cure for the virus, human scientist search the vessel, they are able to find a documents in an alien language, after figuring out how to translate these they gained research information in a number of topics, including what could be a possible lead to a cure for the virus.

8) The parasitic eggs develop much slower in the alien rodent. Months later, the alien vessel is sealed off with no one allowed to enter. Around this time the eggs inside the rodent hatch, killing the rodent. The parasites look similar to large bugs, however they are trapped in the ship and they discover they can’t live long while exposed to earth's environment(even while in the ship). A few days later, during the night, a girl trespasses and opens the ship.

9) Most of the parasites realized they weren't going to be able to live very long on earth, so instead of using the girl to lay eggs in, they used a special trait they developed over time which allows them to merge themselves with the host(officially killing the parasites doing it) in the hopes of creating a much stronger parasite that could fully live on earth while becoming much stronger. 

About 100 parasites attacked and merged with the human girl that night. Though she kept her human memories, she became something almost like a super life form that sided with the parasites. The few parasites that didn't merge with her didn't do so because they did not have the merge ability, and since the girl now gained an extremely high density/amount of pheromones from the merge, they chose not to attack her and instead they left to find another hosts to lay eggs inside.(by repetitively laying eggs, each generation of parasites would become better able to handle earth's environment).

10) while humans were unaware of the parasites and focused on curing the virus, the parasites moved into the forest and attacked various lifeforms there.  Since a parasite can lay tons of eggs in a single earthling that would quickly hatch, they began to become with a more evolved each generation.

This is the updated setting for now for the origin of the aliens and the parasites, though I may revise it a little more.

The next game update is still a long ways away, but I hope you guys will look forward to it. ^^
