Just the figures remain!

My friends, I finished the terrain and integrated the tank into it.

The base was first post-shaded with greyish earth tones (Tamiya Flat Earth and Buff + German Grey) and then flooded with enamel earth washes - the same tones and principles I applied to the tank. A bit of dry-brushing with Rainmarks Effects was employed to add light to the raised areas around the crater. The boulders and smaller rocks were then picked out with acrylics as usual.

Once I glued the tank to the turret with PVA glue, I adjusted the tracks and fixed them with superglue. Streaks of oil were painted with an enamel black wash following the direction of gravity (more or less, lol).

All I have to finish now are the figures, I'll start working on the first one this evening :)

Just the figures remain! Just the figures remain! Just the figures remain! Just the figures remain! Just the figures remain! Just the figures remain!

Thanks so much! And I was having doubts during the entire process! :)

Thanks a lot! And yeah, thinking ahead and having a general plan of the finished piece helps a lot during the process. The creative part starts the moment you open the box, not when you start painting the built model :)

They're a US infantry set from Alpine :)

What figures are you using?

Wow!! Unbelievable . Youโ€™ve done it again, uncle!!

I've started adding very thin wires for electrical cables and shell shots on the outside of my armour. Thinking ahead of time of a final look makes a heck of difference.

The damage on the road wheels and the missing hatch covers are such small details that completely transform this from a "model" to a piece of art. Watching your videos has completely changed how I assemble my models, now with intentionality and purpose, rather than just following the instructions page by page

Saint Shampoo

Very realistic

Never thought the underside of a Panther could be this interesting!!! Enjoying this, thanks!๐Ÿ‘

The streaking on the panther just makes it look so good.

Grant Mayberry

I totally agree ๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿ‘

This is NOT modeling but art. Your color palette with all the rust color variations & nuances is just incredible. Well done my friend.
