Spectral Sub compressor settings

the purpose of this is to essentially "limit" the sub bass so when you're varying basses in a complex pattern it evens out the sub volume.
one thing i notice about amateur mixes is that the sub basses vary during patterns and that sounds less good to my ears!

ugh, I installed it a long ass time ago honestly and I am not really sure, there is an article on it worse case can always just limit your sub frequencies with a MB limiter

2025-07-11 08:39:42 +0000 UTCOk I downloaded it but I have spent about 30 mins trying to disable gatekeeper following the instructions but my computer knowledge is very limited when it comes to this. Any help? no idea what I'm coding here in terminal.
