My friends, today I realized that it's become my tradition to always update you when something is finished - be it a wash or another technique, some detail, or a part of a diorama. Well, since the last update, I didn't finish anything! Only turned everything into WIP... so here are the shots of it :D
The wooden crates were base-coated with the same oil paint technique as on the last facade, they received a quick acrylic basic wash, and then I had to leave them to dry. In fact, I'm still leaving the oils to fully cure before I can proceed further. In the meantime, I started painting the figures.
But my eyes and back are hurting, it's getting late, and I didn't finish the skin tones! Oh well, that will have to wait for another update. BTW. The gigachad who looks like a Peaky Blinders character is really fun to paint, although some of the details are too tiny even for the finest brushes. The welder is a bit "crude" in comparison, but then again, it's unfair to compare 3D and hand sculpting!
Also, there's a photo of how the Ferdinand looks on the factory floor :)
