Finished and... ready for stowage!

My friends, finally, the last detail has been glued in place. You'll notice that I replaced all the rivets on the fenders with new ones punched from tin foil, and, surprisingly, that was one of the easier tasks!

All the fine PE on this model is... not easy to get right. The overall complex shape of the tank, especially the fenders, and everything fitting together precisely (or rather, it's required that everything fits perfectly!) don't make it an easy PE job, and definitely not a good project for someone wanting to dip their toes into extensive PE sets.

With that being said, I made a lot of errors, but my goal was to put it all together and get a semi-presentable result. The headlights and their wiring were haunting me from the start of this project, but they were surprisingly pretty easy. Lead wires are truly a magical material, and the Bronco kit is also a great donor - the plastic junctions were cut from the Bronco parts.

As I was finishing it, I also formed a pretty clear idea about the diorama, and how to integrate the figures into the scene, but also onto the complex surface of this tank. So right now I'm headed for a quick ride outside to catch some sunlight, and then I'll finish with some stowage and the figures!
