Track on and we're done!
Added 2022-05-09 06:41:19 +0000 UTCMy friends, last night I added the tracks, gave them a rather rusty appearance (because this is going to be another abandoned tank) and sprayed the exhaust soot.
Regarding the loose dirt on the roof, I found one close-up shot showing exactly this, lots of dried grass around the driver's cabin. When I was adding all of this, I had the tank placed in the diorama so the dirt would naturally follow gravity :)

That's always the biggest bummer with tracks. I thought it would look cool to throw some make-shift metal armor panels on the side of my T-55 I'm making, but then I thought "you spent all of this extra money getting workable tracks...you better let those things show".

2022-05-10 12:12:09 +0000 UTCI have seen pictures where the crew rode on top of the vehicle since the inside was hot as hell. So yea, dirt on top makes sense. Looks great by the way.

I know you done a SBS using lifecolour previously but a refresher never does any harm ,😁. Loving this one Martin. I think it is one of your best man!
