Pin washing

My friends, I started applying the pin washes. Just like in the interior, I opted for enamels because they're more convenient for me at the moment. Wash for German Yellow was used on the rivets while Winter Streaking Grime was added into panel lines.

I need to finish the remaining sides and then I can proceed with chipping! Again, if you enjoy washes, get a WW1 model because you'll have plenty of fun there :)

Also, I think enamels blend a little smoother over a flat surface than oil paints. I had lots of trouble blending the oil wash on the Mk IV, but here it's not a problem even after 10+ minutes.

Also also, pardon my uploads. I've got a lot on my plate at the moment as I'm doing a full rework of my house, changing the layout, furniture, arranging with contractors, etc. Not to mention, I've got a lot of painting to do, and not just in 1/35th scale ๐Ÿ˜† But as always, I'm trying to be efficient with both tasks so things can move forward at a steady pace!

The real World is there as well, yes. Donโ€˜t worry, Iโ€˜m enjoying every little entry and picture you do. Take your time ๐Ÿ˜‰

Like Aaron, I find it funny that I'm still working on *building* a Whippet while you've finished four models and are remodeling your house. Do you have a full-time gig, too? You should clearly start a life organization blog.
