And it's cut in half π±
Added 2022-02-03 22:14:59 +0000 UTCMy friends, I've added the shrapnel damage, cut the model in half (that was a funny series of misadventures and I captured them on video, lol), and let me tell you, it was painful! It physically hurt me to treat this beautiful kit in such a rough way... but it had to be done, for diorama purposes!
I wasn't able to make a 100% straight cut, not even sand it flush, but I'll try "sinking" the model in lightweight acrylic putty when I'm building the scenery, and it should be fine (plus the added water and everything).
The working plastic tracks are one of the most beautiful features of this kit. You can assemble half a run in 2 minutes. Sadly, the thrown-up track is "fighting" me a little, so I'll have to hold it in correct shape using superglue. sigh... Next up is adding the grouser spuds and other details!
I'm sorry for being a bit... well, not that active lately. Lots of stuff has been happening in my life over the past few weeks, and sometimes I feel too exhausted for... pretty much anything. But I'm doing my best, and I'm sure it'll get better soon!
