I finally got time to finish Shakedown, the abbreviated version of the rules.
Work has been insane and it's been almost impossible to make time for Horizon Wars and Precinct Omega. What progress I have made has been incremental and barely worth showing you guys. But this feels like something worth sharing.
I'll be popping this up on WGV on a PWYW basis this weekend, but here it is for all of you for free. Yes, even the free members. Free membership isn't a thing I've explored much and there's not a lot here for them, but I decided this was worth including our freeloading Grunts (I love you guys really).
However, I also have some great news:
My contract with the NHS is up as of 29 March. But they've asked me to stick around to help them with some strategic projects, which I've agreed to do, but at an increased rate of pay and a reduced number of days. So I'll be working 2-3 days a week for the next few weeks which will mean earning a little less than I've been doing for the last nine months, but will free up at least two days per week to really focus on Precinct Omega.
First priority is the long-overdue Infinite Dark FAQ, followed by Operation KURGAN and then Operation PLANTAGENET. I've got this contract for at least six weeks and, if my judgement is correct, it could push out to twelve. And I also get the pleasant duty of helping an NHS Trust to save several hundred thousand pounds along the way.
