Dear Patrons,

I had hoped, of course, to have the full-colour, full-flavour Horizon Wars: Midnight Dark to share with you by now but, as you know, we are going to have to wait a little longer for that.

However, by way of a Christmas treat I am very pleased to bring you the Printer Friendly edition of the rules, for every single patron, for free.

This will eventually be bundled with the PDF edition. It contains all of the rules and everything you need to play the game. It is shorn of the fiction, the art, the photography, the designer's notes and the musings about miniatures. It is the distilled game. 100% prime wargame. If we compare the whole game to a Full English Breakfast, what you have here is the sausage, bacon, egg and beans. The fried bread, hash browns, fried tomato, fried mushrooms, full pot of strong Assam tea and the daily paper will have to wait. But you will still know you've been wargamed.

You can print this easily on standard A4 paper and you could probably print it monochrome if you want to reduce the use of colour for the few pages that do have some unavoidable colour in them. If you print double-sided (as you should) then you will need exactly 27 sheets of paper to print this document.

I will be working on getting everything else ready over the next few weeks and will share my progress. I am looking forward to sharing more content with the patrons for all of the existing games as well in the New Year.
