Still here!
In fact, I'm excitedly looking forward to next weekend, when I have a full weekend, a whole week and another weekend to plough through getting the book finished and ready for release.
Even at this late stage, changes are being made.
For example, just today - while doing the indexing! - I realized that I used the term "armour" to describe a particular type of element, but then had "armour upgrades" and it might be confusing that people think they can only put "armour upgrades" on "armour element". So armour upgrades got renamed to defence upgrades.
That's the kind of place I'm at, right now.
However, indexing today was a dream, thanks to Affinity's automatic indexing tool. It's still quite time consuming and it took me the best part of an hour, some impatient flicking through YouTube tutorials and a deep dive into the Affinity forum to work out how to get started. But after a bit of play and a fair amount of going backwards and forwards, I eventually worked it out. I'll show you guys the index shortly, because it's a really good illustration of just how much there is in this book compared to the first version of Horizon Wars.
The book as a whole is 106 pages long at the moment and that's unlikely to change dramatically before I send it for printing.
Also, I've seen David's progress on the cover art and it looks smashing. Should be finished by the end of next week with a little luck!
