Blood & A Black Flag - Beta Edition

So here it is.
Yes, that was quick, wasn't it?
I guess this is sort of a proof of concept in terms of what I'm going to try to do with future releases, but this was especially quick because I did all the play-testing for this game, like, ten years ago so I'm pretty confident of the coherency of the rules.
I agonized over the title a bit, but not a lot because I don't have the time to agonize, right now. It was, of course, originally called Skrapyard, but I always had reservations over that name because it sounded a bit post-apocalyptic-comedic rather than black powder fantasy. And originally I called it Shiver Me Timbers, but I was uncertain about that because it was a bit too on the nose - again, sounding a bit comedic, which it isn't, and also being very piratical and was worried it would set people's expectations in the wrong direction.
Then it was briefly called Gold & Glory, but there's already a game called For Gold & Glory which is, I think, a TTRPG or something similar and although I don't mind treading on the toes of Triple-A companies, I've no desire to scavenge the sales of fellow micro-enterprises.
I settled on Blood & A Black Flag after a final read-through, in which I made the details of the setting even more vague (and I actually need to do a bit more work on that before it's released). The object, I hope, will be that people can read what setting text there is and their mind's eye can go to whatever setting they want from high fantasy to space opera and find some traction.
The game is almost entirely unchanged from Skrapyard barring some very minor adjustments. Skrapyard was written with a view to adding things that never got added, so some rules were necessarily wordy to accommodate those planned additions. I've surgically removed them now.
You guys can have a few days to mull over the beta and point out any major (or, indeed, minor) errors if you would like to. I'll make final edits towards the end of the week and have it up for sale in PDF-only format before the end of next week.
After it hits around 250 total sales, I'll update it with any feeback so existing customers can download an updated PDF, then I'll release a POD version - something else I learned from Nordic Weasel.
