Battle Report of the Month (June)
Added 2021-06-11 09:00:59 +0000 UTCThe deadline for submitting a Battle Report of the Month is next Wednesday, so here I am, the Friday before, dropping you a reminder so you can get some dice down this weekend if you want in on the good stuff.
To enter, all you have to do is play a Horizon Wars: Zero Dark or Horizon Wars: Infinite Dark mission and write it up (or record a video). The best write-up each month will win a prize. The prize might be a signed, print version of the rules (if you only have a PDF or want a second copy to give away, or you own ZD but want ID or vice versa), some Precinct Omega merch, or a miniature or two from my collection. I'll discuss the prize with each month's winner.
Battle Reports need to be sent to precinctomega@gmail.com each month by 16th of the month to be eligible for that month's prize. There are no limits on how many reports any given patron sends me but, obviously, quality will count over quantity. Your reports will be posted here, on my blog and in Tabletop Games UK, with credit.
I encourage you to be imaginative, but key factors will be how well the report highlights both the mechanics and narrative of the mission, how well illustrated it is - including the quality and quantity of painted minis and terrain - and how little editing it requires for publication. Missions don't have to be published by Precinct Omega and you are welcome to write reports for your own missions, but you will need to include the details of the mission in the report for it to be a contender.
