I use this episode to try to take apart the alternative options, look at what kinds of businesses are going to want to use what kind of approach and, ultimately, try to decide whether Kickstarter is right for Precinct Omega.

There'll be a little teaser for this discussion in a draft article I'll be dropping onto the Patreon tomorrow. But in the podcast on Friday, I'll have a *lot* more to say on this subject. Might be a long one.

2021-05-25 13:32:09 +0000 UTCI've heard mixed reports about Gamefound. But the most important conclusion was that it really is best for *games* - like, "game-in-a-box" games. So it could be a place to look at for when I get around to giving Ballmonsters the shape it deserves. But not the right place for a miniatures crowdfunder.
