Horizon Wars: Infinite Dark - Beta Edition

Here it is, folks!

So, a few things about the beta edition before you get into it:

This document is as much a tool for me as it is a read for you.  So there are blank pages and other pieces of space.  They are there for me either to fill with art/photography to leave adjustment space between sections when I have to move art etc around.

It's not really designed to be printer-friendly, so if you want to print it, you might want to select exactly the pages you want to actually print.

I've also done no widow/orphan control.  Less sinister than it sounds, this is about making sure that you don't get subtitles at the bottom of a page, separated from its accompanying text, or random single lines floating around.  I say this just to let you know that you don't need to point it out to me.  It'll get fixed in sub-editing.

Otherwise, I'm very open to all feedback, from things I've forgotten to include to rules you don't understand, to missions that you don't think work, to typos.

You can offer feedback here, on the Discord, in my DMs or by email to precinctomega@gmail.com and I will try to collate everything. However, by far the best place to leave feedback is in the Infinite Dark Discord channel.  This will mean that everyone else can see what feedback I've already had, can offer their own answers or suggestions and we can have a proper, community-based conversation.  If you don't do Discord, the next best is to email me.

I am feeling just a wee bit stressed, right now (not about Infinite Dark - there's some other stuff I'm handling), so other than the podcast and livestream, I'm mostly going to be a bit radio silent for a couple of weeks.  This should give you all plenty of time to digest and feedback on the beta and I'll pop in and check in on it then.

Last thing is:

Please don't share this digitally (although by all means, if it's safe to do so in your area, get in someone else to try out the game).  If you have friends who you think might be interested, or communities or forums where you'd like to promote the game, do point them towards the Patreon.  They only have to subscribe for a month, for $2, to get access to the beta, and they can cancel at any time after that.  Of course, if they stick around there are going to be discount codes for the published book and I am going to try really hard, this time, to release PDF and POD at the same time.
