Added 2020-07-14 16:00:56 +0000 UTCSo I occasionally get hit with the inspiration brick and have to write something down before it escapes, and as I've run out of scheduled posts to keep you entertained while I'm distracted with "proper" work I thought I'd share this one with you:
Zero Dark: Antediluvium
This would be a supplement for Zero Dark, set in the period immediately before the Fall, within the city-states, focused on the non-compliant citizens - people living outcast lives within the cities who refuse to join the melds. These are the bottom 10% - the ones who would be left behind after the Fall and who would go on to make up the Terran Survivor faction in Zero Dark.
Basically, though, if Zero Dark is milpunk, this would be more pure cyberpunk - criminals, gangers, politics reactionaries and off-grid police enforcers fighting for freedom, cash and guns.
Basically the same rules as Zero Dark with new heroes and upgrades and some new rules based on the idea that you're fighting in a fully built-up, switched-on, wired-out area that would make hacking quite a lot more powerful.
