Weekly Miniatures News #8 - Game-Agnostic Miniatures
Added 2020-06-20 15:11:06 +0000 UTCThere's been a lot of chat about miniatures-agnostic games, lately, so I instead take a look at game-agnostic miniatures instead, this week.
Manufacturers mentioned are:
Monster Fight Club - and their Kickstarter
Troublemaker Games - and their Kickstarter
I also mention GW, FFG and Corvus Belli, but you should all know where to find them, by now...

Why not both?? 😁

2020-06-24 12:23:39 +0000 UTCI pretty much only solo game anymore, GW reigns where I live even at the FLGS. I prefer skirmish games so WH and 40K hasn't been my thing. There is Kill Team but with two young kids at home, the hassle to get out for a game is sometimes not worth it. All these game-agnostic miniatures are great in my opinion. So many options, hard to get bored finding what you want. Feels like I can truly build my vision for the game world not fit my paint scheme into another person's IP. Now if I can only choose between 28 mm or 15 mm for Zero Dark I'd be set!

However you still have to contend with different scales of models, so mixing and matching any miniatures you like isn't always a possibility (damn Heavy Gear and it's 1:144 scale!)
