Op Nemesis Artwork Preview
Added 2020-06-03 11:27:35 +0000 UTCWith Zero Dark artist, David Sondered, working hard on the cover for Operation Nemesis, I reached out to another (slightly cheaper) artist contact to do some work on interior illustrations to give the book a bit more interest.
Tan Ho Sim is a Malaysian artist and illustrator with a great portfolio in scifi and fantasy. I've been in conversation with Tan for a while, now, and it's great to have him on board.
These sketches are really just proof of concept stuff, based on the scribbles I sent him, for me to confirm that he's barking up the right tree - confirmation I have given him!
Working with a new artist is always an interesting challenge and small projects are a great way of getting a sense for an artist's approach and auditioning them for future work. I'm hoping Tan will be a great fit to work on larger pieces for Infinite Dark.
The first image is a medical gauntlet, used by Docs. The second is, obviously, a claymore mine.
