Added 2020-05-02 16:04:18 +0000 UTCWilly never fit in with the Bigs. His parents had been wild types, happier in the isolated wilderness than inside the walls of the city-states, defying the law and the hunter drones.
Only when their sickly, tiny child was born did they surrender to the nearest city-state of London.
But although they welcomed the medical support that kept Willy alive, they still rejected the culture of the city-states and retreated to the dark, forgotten corners of the deep city.
There, Willy grew up surrounded by the creaking and ancient machinery of a forgotten age. Fascinated, he made himself into an engineer by sheer determination, filling the dark sheds with his eccentric inventions.
By the time of Ammit, Willy was exploring the abandoned countryside of a wild British Isles, hunting down ancient steam engines, rail engines and other lost technology.
Since then, he has been busy working as a mercenary with a rare knowledge of the Northern European wilderness. More only is he a fine scout with a knack for modern as well as ancient technology, but also carries "Betty", his powerful, self-built minigun.
