Gamemat.eu MDF Terrain Review

As I got hold of this huge set of MDF terrain from Gamemat.eu, and it's going to start appearing in lots of videos and photography for Zero Dark, I thought I'd do a review while I was at it.

I have to say that, for £65/$75, it strikes me as being extremely good value.  I don't have a huge collection of MDF terrain, and there are some very sophisticated and clever kits out there, these days.  This stuff is pretty simply and straightforward but has enormous flexibility and, not being too fussy, is ripe for messing about with, adding bits and bobs and extra details and stuff.

I am a huge sucker for MDF terrain and this stuff looks like great value for money. By the way the reason you only get etched details on one side is because to double-etch a sheet they'd need to flip the sheet they're cut from over - it would very literally double their workload. I would love to see how you customise these and what else they sent you

That's true! I think it's going to use up one whole can of black spray paint. Luckily, my preferred source of paint is also a food retailer, making them a key business, so they are still open in the event that I run out.

Seems like great value to fill a 4x4 table. You get a lot of terrain, but that means a lot of painting...
