Zero Dark: Millennium

I know that, when I asked about this a couple of months ago, enthusiasm for a "grimdark scifi" supplement for Zero Dark was, um, muted.  By and large, people like you who are fans of independent games and designers are unlikely to be also fans of the void whale in the tabletop wargaming room.

However, for all that I am largely unimpressed with GW's approach to game design, I am still a massive fan-boy for their universe, its mad and twisted occupants, and the miniatures they design for it.  And I really want an excuse to dip my toe back into the 40kverse once in a while.

So in between other, more time-consuming projects, I did this as a little pallet cleanser.  It is, so far, completely un-tested and fresh from my brain, so take that as you will.  And, of course, it is entirely devoid of relevant missions etc. so you are expected to use your brains, hearts and warp-glands to apply the contents appropriately.

If you're not a 40k fan, you may still be interested in the rules for psychic powers if you like that sort of thing.

I've got boxes full of Salamanders, Valhallans, Emperor's Children and some Iyanden Ghost Warriors. I never use any of them any more, maybe this gives me an excuse :-)

You know you do. ;)

Precinct Omega

I still love mini-marines. I've put a bunch on my birthday wishlist as I think I've cracked the code on an easy and quick upscaling technique to let those marines stretch their legs a bit. The Death Guard are a lot of fun to paint as well, and I still like Orks, Tau, Necron, and Eldar of all ilk as well. I had planned on just playing them in Star Breach, but perhaps I need a bit of this PDF in my life too?
