Assuming no one drops out before this scheduled post drops, the Zero Dark Patreon has broken two major milestones:

More than 30 patrons! And $100 per month*!

I originally committed to doing something about livestreaming a game when I broke 30 patrons. But those of you who've been here a while will know that I broke and did that aaaages ago. So I'm obviously going to have to try to livestream another game ASAP. Third times the charm, so perhaps this time I'll not embarrass myself with technical incompetence.

I never imagined I'd reach $100 per month. I would do something to celebrate but, as the costs of the project are still rather higher than that, it would be foolish. But I will use this as an opportunity to say that I'm about to do something incautious, ambitious and a teeny bit risky. Those who came here from the Horizon Wars Facebook group might remember a rash promise I made about if the HW supplement, Over the Horizon, hit a certain volume of sales...

Well, after a long discussion with my family, it's been decided that, although its current income can't possibly replace my salary, I'm going to finish my job and make Precinct Omega a full-time endeavour. My current contract will end on about the same day that Zero Dark is due to be released, after which I'm taking a holiday. But when I come back, I will be a full-time tabletop games entrepreneur.

This will mean some exciting new things coming in the near future, but I will still be relying on my patrons for advice and suggestions.
