February Update
Added 2020-02-07 13:00:51 +0000 UTCFirst, I'm off to Bournmouth this evening, to attend Beachhead 2020 tomorrow. If anyone is in the vicinity or, better still, coming to Beachhead, do let me know! But once I'm ensconced in my hotel room, I'll be finalizing the latest update to the beta rules.
I had some fantastic and detailed feedback from a couple of patrons, all of which I've taken on board and most of which has led to some fine-tuning of the rules and fixing some upgrades, in particular, that were obviously broken (obviously, that is when someone else pointed it out to me).
Anyway, if you've got any feedback on the current beta you'd like to give me, you've got a window of about 48 hours before 0.9 hits, and my aspiration is that this will be the last beta version, given that I expect to have the artwork in a week or two and am finishing off the photography. By the end of February, I should have submitted the finished files to Wargame Vault for approval and, by mid-March, I should have the proof copy for checking.
My experience with Over the Horizon helped me learn so much that I'm 90% confident that the proof will be right first time. If it's not, then publication will get pushed back a few weeks to late April.
So help me out, Patrons, and get nit-picking.
