Next Livestream

It's cool that, on the day I did my first livestream (despite having said in the plan that I'd only do that when we hit 20 patrons) I subsequently hit 20 patrons!  Welcome, all the new folk.  I will send you a personal message in due course if you've not had one already.  I am deeply thankful for each and every one of you.

After the last livestream, one of you was so disgusted at my feeble efforts that he sent me a sum of money specifically to put towards improving the hardware at my disposal.

I am utterly humbled by this generosity, needless to say.  I will be shopping carefully and we should see some improvements in quality in due course.  Whether it's in time for the next livestream, I'm not sure.  My thoughts are that I'll put together a sensible shopping list, order what I need and probably take it for a test drive before the end of January.  I will give you all plenty of notice as soon as I know myself when it's going to be.  But 1500GMT on a Sunday seems like a pretty good time, so far.

So, what shall we do next time?  Well, my plan is to start by doing something a bit similar to last time.  We'll do the first mission in Operation Gemini with a four-person X Team.  But I'd like to hear from you guys what characters you'd like to see and what upgrades you'd like me to test.

Oh, and I just realized a mistake I made in the last livestream.  I forgot to run down the clock for the heroes upgrades.  They had a total of six upgrades, so I should have run down the clock by six cards - so I should have had ten cards rather than sixteen left at the end of the mission: a bit tighter than I thought at first!

I also totally forgot to use the sniper's lethal trait, although I did use her starlight visor, so that was a win.

We'll make the next one a toughie with up to four upgrades per hero.  Lay it on me.  Who would you like to see and what upgrades do you want them to have?  A robot Doc?  An Athlete Leader, followed by an Emjay?  An AI Spook?

Let me know sooner rather than later in case I need to dig out some unusual minis from my collection and perhaps touch up the paint a smidge.
