Let's give this "livestreaming" thing a go, shall we?
Added 2020-01-07 15:23:13 +0000 UTCI got a delivery, yesterday, of the mini that Jonathan won in the Monthly Mini Draw. I have Harley's on order, but the supplier has just recovered from a health wobble, so it might be a little longer (I ordered a few more from the supplier for myself and for Stefan, so there's a few minis coming).
Anyway, I thought this was an opportunity to do a little livestreaming to test out my new Twitch channel. I don't expect anyone to be watching. Frankly, I hope no one will be. But in case you do, I'll be doing my best to go live at 1500 GMT on Saturday 11th January.
Plan is that I'll show you my bomb crater of a workspace, talk through Jon's choice of mini and prep it for priming, then I'll show you the gaming table I use to test Zero Dark. I'll set up a game, design some heroes on the fly (if you're watching, I'll get suggestions from the feed if there's any heroes you'd like to see me put on the tabletop) and throw some dice to go through a Rescue mission.
I'll probably forget rules or get them wrong and play a version I changed months ago, because that happens to me all the time. But hopefully it will, at least, be a reasonable test of the livestreaming software and my Twitch account. Expect the usual painful amateurishness that is the signature of a middle-aged man doing new things with technology.
I don't know if I can restrict access to the livestream to just patrons. I think, for now, it'll be an all-access thing just for simplicity's sake.

Won't be much painting on this session. But I will talk through my painting plan as I assemble her and review the mini generally.
