Beta v0.6 is here!

It's like Christmas came early or something!  But you all need to thank new patron, Stefan.

Stefan helped me with playtesting and proofreading an earlier version of the rules, so he already has a version not dissimilar to the one you all got last month.  So I thought, seeing as how we has not only been good enough to throw me some patronage and I am the first thing he has ever Patreoned (is that a word?  It's a word now) I thought I needed to pull out the stops and work through the pain (*pauses to stretch arm and wince in agony*) to make sure you guys got the 0.6 beta.

As far as the solo or co-op game goes, this is pretty much done.  There might still need to be some work on Operation GEMINI, because I've not tested all of the recent changes (feel free to help me with that!), but otherwise we're good.

The PvP missions have had a little bit of tweaking (mostly rules clarifications rather than actual changes) but still need a more thorough testing.  Still, they're pretty basic, design-wise, so we should be good to go.

This post will be patron exclusive until 1st January so I can give the freeloaders - sorry, I mean, non-paying followers of this project - a little New Year present.

One thing that is missing from this document is the setting text.  I'm going to be trying to work a lot more on that over the next month.  I want to try to make it less text-book-y and more narrative, with a cast of characters and a story arc for you guys to follow through the book and into any supplements that follow.

I will also be focussing on trying to get together a few short "How To" videos to illustrate the core rules for the game.

Meanwhile, I'm thinking about introducing some better rewards for people backing at $5 and above.  I'll post about that later.
